Deadline extended for Foundation Scholarship Applications (2018-07-11)
The deadline to submit scholarship applications to the OTA Education Foundation has been extended to July 20th from July 15th. “We have had some technical challenges associated with the website that applicants are asked to access to complete their applications, so it only seemed fair that students be granted a little more time to submit their applications” explained the Foundation’s Executive Director Betsy Sharples. Applicants are asked to submit a short essay about careers and jobs in trucking. Given that the resource they are asked to use was not always functioning properly, an alternate topic for the short essay portion of the application has been posted to the Foundation’s website.
