Endowed Scholarships
The OTA Education Foundation offers additional scholarship opportunities through specific scholarships that have been established by corporate members of the trucking industry. While some of these scholarships are available to a limited selection of students, many are open for any student to apply. Before applying, applicants are urged to make sure that they meet all of the eligibility requirements attached to each scholarship. All of the following endowed scholarships are administered by the OTA Education Foundation.
Bison Transport Scholarship
The Erb Group of Companies "Service to Community" Scholarship
Awarded to a first-year post-secondary student enrolled in a public Ontario college or university, who demonstrates a commitment to his/her community, through his/her involvement in community and/or other charitable volunteer work.

The KTG Scholarship
Awarded each year to a full-time student enrolled in a public Ontario university or college who demonstrates a commitment to his/her community and/or other charitable volunteer work. Preference will be given to students enrolled in studies that focus on Transportation, Logistics, Business, and/or Human Resources. Application + Learn more

Steed Standard Transport Gary Lebold Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time student enrolled in Business Administration – Supply Chain and Operations Management at Conestoga College. The scholarship honours the life and legacy of Gary Lebold, who worked with Steed Standard Transport from 1964 until he retired in 2018. For 50+ years, Gary helped shape the culture and elevated safety and customer service at Steed Standard Transport, where his tenure spanned three generations of Steed family members. Gary started driving when he was 18 and continued to drive until his early seventies. His colleagues describe him as a kind-hearted and generous soul who was a visionary, mentor, leader, and a thoughtful friend.
